(SG65) Maintenance Technician £26.5K-£31K+ Northants As a maintenance technician you will be involved in the following, PPM and Breakdowns, repairs, callouts, Housekeeping and Process Improvement. You will also carry out plant inspections on a regular basis and respond quickly and efficiently to breakdown requests to keep down time to a minimum. There is a clean as you go policy which ensures work areas are left clean and tidy helping to keep health and safety and food safety standards maintained. You must communicate with stores when spare parts are used or stocks are at minimum levels, in order to ensure stocks are replenished and available when required. PERSON SPECIFICATION: To apply for this role you will need to be around a 50/50 split between electrical and mechanical as the role will need someone who is adaptable to both sectors. Previous experience in a food or packaging environment would be an advantage and you must have a proactive and systematic approach. The ability to communicate clearly at all levels is vital as you interact with employees of all levels.
